The 2010 Lexus ES 350 Sedan
The Lexus ES 350 is the latest version of the company's long-running ES series. Like its predecessors, it's roomy, quiet and assembled with care. Yet the ES 350 offers a bit more in the way of performance than earlier ES sedans, thanks to its powerful V6 engine. Likewise, its ride and handling dynamics come even closer to the luxury sedan ideal, as the ES 350's ride quality is as forgiving as it is composed.

The 2010 Lexus GS 350 Sedan
It takes a lot to get noticed in the midsize luxury sedan segment. Customers are looking for prestige as well as refinement, quality and performance, and for almost two decades, Lexus has been trying to match the big names from Germany on each of those counts with its GS series of luxury sport sedans. Today's 2010 Lexus GS 350 is indeed the strongest entry yet, and we doubt that buyers will be disappointed in its abilities to transport as well as coddle them from point A to point B.

The 2010 Lexus GS 450h Hybrid Sedan
The hybrid Lexus GS 450h emphasizes performance over fuel efficiency, with its gasoline engine and hybrid motors combining to make 340 horsepower, which about matches the 342-hp GS 460. The GS 450h has no hybrid competitors. The hybrid is faster than the GS 460. Lexus says the GS 450h can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds, while the GS 460 takes 5.4 seconds.

The 2010 Lexus GS 460 Sedan
The Lexus GS 460 comes fully equipped with a long list of features that includes adaptive HID headlights, keyless ignition/entry, supple leather upholstery, rich wood trim, dual-zone climate control and a 10-speaker sound system. Options include a superb Mark Levinson audio system with navigation and a back-up camera, adaptive cruise control and the Pre-Collision accident preparedness system.

The 2010 Lexus GX 460 SUV
Slotting just below the LX 570 in the Lexus lineup, the mid-size 2010 Lexus GX 460 is all-new this year, itself based on the Toyota 4Runner. The GX offers a V-8 engine and power-folding third-row seats, plus, a host of luxury and technology options and much-improved refinement while allowing impressive off-road and towing ability. Throughout the GX, designers have blended the gentle, organic, and aerodynamic styling of the Lexus L- Finesse designs of recent years with a "machined steel bar" theme, giving it a more sculpted, solid look that separates it from the cars and crossovers.

The 2009 Lexus GX 470 SUV
Underneath, the GX 470 has body-on-frame construction like commercial or military trucks, with a solid rear axle and serious four-wheel drive features such as a locking center differential and dual-speed transfer case. Inside, the GX 470 is roomy, quiet and luxurious, with an optional third-row seat that expands capacity to eight. Its cabin is swathed in leather and bird's-eye maple. An overhead-cam V8 and smooth five-speed automatic transmission provide sufficient power for towing, trail-bashing, or carving corners on a coastal highway.

The 2010 Lexus HS 250h Hybrid Sedan
Rather than just slap Lexus badges on a Prius or Camry Hybrid and call it a day, Lexus based the HS 250h sedan on a specialized platform not utilized by any other Toyota or Lexus hybrid. In terms of size, it's bigger than a Corolla but smaller than a Camry. As for the driving experience, though, it's all Lexus, with refined performance, a smooth and quiet ride and an impeccably trimmed cabin chock-full of the latest (but easily operated) high-tech features.

The 2010 Lexus IS 250 Sedan
The 2010 Lexus IS 250 is a luxury sport-looking sedan. Its tidy dimensions and slinky wedge profile indicate a sporty, athletic car -- ditto on its handsome wheels, available manual transmission and standard V6 engine. Yet dip below the surface and you'll discover a typical Lexus that places its priority on comfort and luxury. For those who want all the trappings of a sport sedan but don't need or want the firm ride, taut handling and rapid acceleration that goes along with it, the IS 250 should be right up their alley.

The 2010 Lexus IS 250C Convertible
Lexus has never offered an entry-level convertible, but that finally changes this year with the all-new 2010 IS 250C. As you can likely guess, it's based on the IS sedan, and is therefore much cheaper and has a (marginally) more useful backseat than the Lexus SC 430. But in the transformation from solid-roof four-door to retractable-roof two-door, Lexus gave the IS C some rather ungainly long hindquarters to swallow the roof's three pieces of steel.

The 2010 Lexus IS F Sedan
The IS F offers solid competition for its rivals and is a welcome performance entry in the Lexus line-up, providing luxury, speed, and comfort in a well-rounded package. Lexus has hinted at a coupe version to come, although little is known about arrival dates or how it will change look and performance. If coupes are your thing, perhaps you should wait, but theres little else to give pause in the IS F.

The 2010 Lexus LS 460 Sedan
The Lexus LS 460 boasts available features and comfort that until recently were only associated with ultra-expensive marks such as Rolls-Royce. Features such as a power reclining rear seat complete with an ottoman and massager, and a built-in beverage cooler. The LS receives several changes for 2010. The exterior features revised bumpers, headlights, tailights, grille and exhaust diffusers. The interior features a standard USB port, streaming audio and XM(R) Satellite Radio.

The 2010 Lexus LS 600h Hybrid Sedan
The 2010 Lexus LS 600h L is a full-size hybrid luxury sedan based on the long-wheelbase version of its gas-powered sibling. As the most expensive model in the Lexus lineup, this flagship is as fully loaded as anything you'll find. It has everything you'd ever want, and some things you didn't even know you wanted. The cabin of the Lexus LS 600h L is at the top of its class. Controls for climate, audio and navigation are extraordinarily intuitive, operated by buttons and via the touchscreen display.

The 2010 Lexus LX 570 SUV
The all-new 2010 Lexus LX is a true luxury vehicle first and foremost, with advanced safety, comfort and quality features. It's a big, heavy vehicle that can tow big loads, haul heavy cargo, and transport people and gear across great distances in comfort. It uses the same heavy frame and stout powertrain as the Toyota Land Cruiser. Like the Land Cruiser, the Lexus LX 570 is designed for extraordinary versatility and an unusual combination of utility and luxury. But with the Lexus, luxury comes first.

The 2010 Lexus RX 350 SUV
Lexus took a conservative approach when it reworked its bread-and-butter crossover. The tweaks made to this new-generation RX include a slight increase in width (though other dimensions remain essentially unchanged), bigger standard wheels (18" vs 17"), bigger brakes, a new six-speed transmission, more airbags (now at 10), a keyless ignition system and a new mouse-like multifunction controller for the navigation system that's actually both clever and intuitive to use.

The 2010 Lexus RX 450h Hybrid SUV
When it debuted four years ago, the Lexus RX 400h answered what many thought was an obvious question: Why doesn't someone make a midsize hybrid SUV? Better yet, how about a luxury-branded midsize hybrid SUV? That first RX hybrid offered the typical Lexus attributes of luxury, a smooth and quiet ride and top-notch build quality. It also provided strong performance along with fuel mileage ratings in the mid-20s. The 2010 Lexus RX 450h represents the next generation of this successful offering.

The 2010 Lexus SC 430 Convertible
While it's no longer the unique spectacle it once was, the 2010 Lexus SC 430's retractable hardtop is still a nice piece. With a complex mechanism that stacks the three aluminum sections neatly under the rear deck lid in less than 30 seconds, it allows owners to enjoy both the comfort and security of a coupe and the pleasures of open-air motoring. A standard wind deflector fits behind the front seats and helps keep top-down buffeting to a minimum.
