Please be advised that as of June 1, 2006, the results of our U.S. title history searches will be shared with all licensing jurisdictions in Canada through the Inter Provincial Records Exchange (IRE).
This information may be used by the jurisdiction when determining whether or not to license a vehicle.
Every province and territory has the statutory authority to issue or refuse to issue a license for a vehicle, and a prior U.S. title brand will be one of the factors taken into consideration in the process.
We strongly recommend that you verify the U.S. title history of a vehicle before you import it into Canada.
